A Fine Art Portrait Session Full of Baby's Breath | Photographs by Lissa Chandler
Lissa here! I'm so excited to share this fine art editorial with y'all today!
After I had my sweet + hilarious baby Poppy (she was born in the summer of 2019!) and before quarantine began, I decided to push myself and shoot in my office with static backdrops. I've always been one to shoot on location - the first time I ever shot on a seamless paper backdrop was the first product shoot we did for our Opal and June gowns - and I really wanted to find fun ways to bring bright, editorial backdrops to life in my own space. It was a blast! My vision for this shoot with Alexandra was romantic, colorful, and whimsical. I ordered some bulk baby's breath, grabbed a chair from my porch, put my two month old baby in her swing (right outside the view of the background!) and then Alexandra and I just hung out for hours creating these fun and whimsical photographs. I was so happy with how these photographs turned out and am so excited to share them with you today! Gotta love that office light!
