WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE THE DRESS?
As photographers, we totally understand that dirt and small blemishes will happen during the course of rentals. However, if substantial damage is done to the dress, we will charge the full product value of the dress plus a $50 restocking fee to your credit card. Product values can be found at the bottom of every product description and range from $25 to $2,500. If a dress is damaged but repairable, a cleaning or repair fee will be charged based on the damages. We hope that you will treat the dresses like you borrowed them from a friend or sister!
HOW DO I SHIP THE DRESS BACK?
We wanted to make the process as easy as possible, so we have included a return shipping sticker in your box! The cost of the return was included in your original shipping charge, so all you have to do is slap that shipping label on top of the original one and drop the box off at your local post office before noon on the day following your last rental day! After you drop the dress off, shoot us an email to let us know it is on the way!
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON WHAT I CAN DO WITH THE DRESS?
Unless it is listed as a use for the dress in the listing, please don't shoot the dresses in water or any other extreme conditions (mudslides, active volcanoes, zombie apocalypses)! We want to keep the dresses in the best possible condition for future rentals and we need your help in doing that!
WHY AREN'T THE DRESSES AVAILABLE IN EVERY SIZE?
The dresses available at Opal and June were carefully curated over a long period of time and our collection originally started as dresses we purchased for photoshoots with models and clients. We would love to expand the range of sizes we carry in the future, but as of now most of our dresses are in the 0-8 range.
CAN I RENT A DRESS TO WEAR TO AN EVENT?
Absolutely! There are so many dresses that would be amazing for High School Proms, Engagement portraits, Maternity Portraits, and Wedding Reception dresses! One of our dresses - Amelie!
- was even worn by our co-founder, Lauren, for anniversary photos in Paris! If you do wear a dress to an event, we would love to see photos! Make sure to hashtag #opalandjune when you post on Insta!
HOW DO I GET MY PHOTOS FEATURED?
This is one aspect of the business that we are super excited about! We'd love to feature your beautiful images from your sessions with our dresses! If you would like to be featured, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the title "blog submission" and 10-15 of your favorite images! Give us a little info about your session (your business name & link, other vendors involved, your inspiration, etc) and we would love to include you on our official Opal and June blog!
HOW LONG DOES THE SHIPPING PROCESS TAKE?
We utilize the United States Postal Service to ship and use their priority mail service! When you place your order, make sure that the rental is due to arrive the day before your big shoot / event / etc!
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Yes! An order can be cancelled and refunded in full within 72 hours of an order being placed. If an order is cancelled after this 72 hour window, orders may be cancelled and a cancellation fee of 25% percent of the original order will be issued. Here's how it works! If a $100 order is cancelled after the 72 hour window has passed, $75 will be returned to the customer upon cancellation.
Due to shipping, orders may not be cancelled within one week of the rental start date.
DO YOU CHARGE LATE FEES?
We charge a $15 late fee for each day up to 14 days that a dress is late. If a dress is not returned within 14 days, the full product value plus a $50 restocking fee will be charged to your credit card. We rely on timely returns so that we can get it shipped out to its next destination and need your help with this!
