A Gray and Lavender Inspiration Shoot by Lissa Chandler | Featuring Hand Painted Backdrops 1 & 2!
Posted on February 24 2021
It's been a hot minute since we blogged on here and I'm super excited to be back!
Today, I'm sharing a session that's near and dear to my heart. In fact, it's one of mine!
Like most of our product photographs, this styled shoot took place in my garage (garage light is my jam!) but, instead of shooting on seamless paper, we shot on two hand painted backdrops that I crafted late at night once my babies were asleep. These backdrops were super fun to create. Made with dye, bleach, and acrylic paint, I had the best time combining colors to create a dynamic, unique backdrop that would make our shoot pop. It was a total blast and I am so excited to share these photographs with you! My friend Hannah of Fleurish planned this shoot with me from top to bottom and, months after it was shot, I'm still just so in awe of her flowers, Shae's makeup, and Alyssa's modeling skills. They're a dream team!
